The Business Bay is being transformed into a city within a city, with 220 stores and over 3 million square feet of retail space (1 million sq. ft. is inside the metro station), 5 skyscrapers, two bridges linking it to Dubai Marina, four multi-story car parks and many restaurants, kiosks and cafes. There are fountains outside all store entrances where people can relax when things get busy inside.
Historical Background
Business Bay is the modern project being developed by Dubai Properties, LLC, in Umm Suqeim. This mixed-use development will be located on the site of a former airplane factory. The project was first announced on December 14, 2009 and broke ground on March 19, 2010.

Bay Avenue Park Dubai

Bay Avenue Park is a new community in Downtown Dubai, which is being developed by Nakheel. It consists of two towers – Signature Tower and Discovery Building, which are being built in partnership with Canary Wharf Group and PLP Developments respectively. The project had been planned to begin in early 2017 and was expected to be completed around end of 2020. Two shopping malls are also being constructed adjacent to the project called City Walk Mall and Entertainment Centre on Bay Avenue Street.
